This isn't related to the previous series of posts. Just want to put my feelings out there.
i find it really upsetting how people try to hijack Ahlulbayt (as) and say they're exclusively for Shi'ahs. That's like projecting our own egos onto the most purified beings in existence. Ahlulbayt (as) are for all humanity, angels, animals, fish, plants; everything in creation.
Look at the lives of the previous Imams of Ahlulbayt. Look at the life of Lady Fatimah. Look at the life of the holy prophet Muhammad (s), who, in the words of God, is nothing except 'a mercy to the worlds'. Oh you who claim to have exclusive ownership of Ahlulbayt! Can you provide a single incident throughout 1400 years of Islamic history where Ahlulbayt turned away someone because they did not believe in them?
On the contrary, enemies and haters receive nothing but compassion from this household. It's a disgrace for us to consider ourselves their followers. They are mercy. If we were actually connected to them, that mercy would flow through our hearts to the rest of creation. No anger, hatred, jealousy, ego or negativity would exist in such a heart, and when i find these within myself, i realize that i have disconnected myself from the household of purity, and need to connect once more.
